Chocolate.

Staffie Cross Boxer.

Chocolate was an unwanted puppy. Quite frankly it was their loss - he is a fabulous dog and with the right owners and right training he would make a brilliant dog.

Chocolate is very people friendly – loves a cuddle and a fuss. Giddy on first meeting but settles down quickly. A cheeky chap with a lot of love to give.

Choclate is good with dog friendly dogs, dog savvy cats and children over 12 – unless parents put in training and precautions so Chocolate cannot accidently knock them over.Choclate is looking for a family to give him the time and training he needs (he knows his basics) An energetic family would be ideal.

Chocolate would be the perfect addition to anyone who could give him the training he needs and the exercise he would like. Chocolate is good on the lead but is strong at first. He is good with dogs that are good with him. He would be the ideal running or cycling partner for anyone with a fast paced exercise routine.  But Chocolate loves nothing more than to snuggle up by the fire with his human. Clicker training would work nicely with this big beaut, he is eager to please and so people orientated.

Chocolate has had all his injections and has been neutered.

Jennie.

Jennie, like her sisters below, were bred by a family, Mother was a Staffie cross, Father said to be a Dogue de Bordeaux, Jennie was from a litter of 9 and none of the litter were sold, the community officer and Dog warden took the litter and they have been in rescue since they left their mother at 10 weeks.
Jennie is a sweetheart. Shy at first and submissive with other dogs. Very friendly and loves a cuddle. Loves nothing more than to follow a human around or explore in the garden whilst you relax.

Jennie is looking for a home to give her the time and love she deserves with a garden and space for her to exercise, in addition to walks. Can live with other dogs and dog savvy cats and children over 12.

Jennie has had both her injections, is wormed and has had flea treatment. She is house trained but has not had much formal training. Clicker training is advised with this gentle soul. Jennie will have to be spayed on agreement with adoption.

"It gives me heartache to see this beautiful little girl on here - me and my OH were going to take her on, but after seeing our current dog's behaviour at training class the past couple of weeks, I have decided it would be too much for me on my own, she is very easy at 4-5 months old, but I realise that if I want another dog, it would have to be a calm adult and not a puppy.
Jennie is a genuine sweetheart, she was the first to settle when we brought her and her sisters round to my house to play and socialise with our 3 dogs. She fit in like a glove and sat with my lot more than her own litter - which is why it gives me heartache to post her up for adoption on behalf of the rescue.
Jennie is much calmer than her sister's - more Mastiff than Staffie in my opinion - not that it changes anything. She is one of the bigger ones of the pups. She loves to sleep in the sunshine - especially if she can get on the trampoline.

Wishing her all the best in life."  Aimée, volunteer puppy socialiser.

Lu-Lu

Lu-Lu is a 4-5 month old Staffordshire Bull terrier Cross Mastiff.

Lu-Lu was from a litter of 9 that a family bred possibly in the hope that the cross would bring in money, none of the litter sold and the litter was handed into the Community Officer and Dog warden. The Dog Warden then passed them onto us here at Puppies animal Rescue and they have been in rescue since they left their mother at the age of 10 weeks - of which they were kept in a crate.

Lu-Lu is desperatley seeking a home that will provide all the care and patience she needs. Lu-Lu loves to give people kisses and follow your every step, very much a people dog although she does get on with other dogs well. Lu-Lu is nervous of new situations so will need extra socialisation and extra patience when out and about or in new environments, however, she is a happy little girl if you are around to show her that everything is OK. Lu-Lu loves nothing more than to cuddle up to a human on a warm sofa and snore her little head off.

She would be the perfect addition to someone who works from home, who will be able to give her the confidence she will need. She will provide excellent company to those able to be at home all day.

Lu-Lu would have to be rehomed with children over the age of 12 due to her size and ability to knock over or jump up smaller children (although she doesn't mean to!) Clicker training would work well with Lu-Lu as she is food motivated.

 Sue.

Sue is a 4-5 month old Staffordshire Bull terrier Cross Mastiff.

Sue was from a litter of 9 that a family bred possibly in the hope that the cross would bring in money, none of the litter sold and the litter was handed into the Community Officer and Dog warden. The Dog Warden then passed them onto us here at Puppies animal Rescue and they have been in rescue since they left their mother at the age of 10 weeks - of which they were kept in a crate.

Sue is desperatley seeking a home that will provide all the care and patience she needs. Sue loves to give people kisses as well as the other dogs.Sue is nervous of new situations so will need extra socialisation and extra patience when out and about or in new environments, however, Sue is a happy little girl when used to her surroundings.

Sue lives with several other adult dogs and 5 litter mates.

Here at Puppies Animal Rescue we recommend that Sue is trained using a clicker - a gentle approach to training and fun for both dog and owner. We would also like to see her in a home with children over the age of 12 as she is a puppy, and still likes to jump up.

Sue can live with other dogs, preferably a confident companion that will give her the confidence she needs to explore new surroundings. But Sue will happily be rehomed on her own as long as new owners are willing to put in the effort to socialise and train her. Sue can also live with dog savvy cats.

 Sally.

Sally is a 4-5 month old Staffordshire Bull terrier Cross Mastiff.

Sally was from a litter of 9 that a family bred possibly in the hope that the cross would bring in money, none of the litter sold and the litter was handed into the Community Officer and Dog warden. The Dog Warden then passed them onto us here at Puppies animal Rescue and they have been in rescue since they left their mother at the age of 10 weeks - of which they were kept in a crate.

Sally is a confident and independent little girl. Sally likes to play with her toys and although loves the company of her sisters and other dogs – Sally prefers to step back from them and explore on her own.

We recommend that Sally is Clicker trained - she will do anything for food! We would also like to see her in a home with no children or children over the age of 12. Sally is a big puppy so would easily knock over a small child without meaning too.

Sally can live with other dogs and also dog savvy cats.

Mavis.

Mavis is a 4-5 month old Staffordshire Bull terrier Cross Mastiff.

Mavis was from a litter of 9 that a family bred possibly in the hope that the cross would bring in money, none of the litter sold and the litter was handed into the Community Officer and Dog warden. The Dog Warden then passed them onto us here at Puppies animal Rescue and they have been in rescue since they left their mother at the age of 10 weeks - of which they were kept in a crate.

Mavis is quite possibly the most outgoing of the puppies we have here. She is a very confident girl and loves a good wrestle with her sisters and other dogs. She is very friendly with people and loves to cuddle up on the sofa beside you or indeed on you.

We would like to see Mavis go to a home with an owner who is willing to give her the time she needs, she may be confident in the garden but in the big wide world, there may be another story. She would be the perfect addition to your family if you had children over 12 and a dog that loves to play. She is also good with cats but if you have one and would like to adopt her - they would have to be very dog savvy.
