About Us

At Puppies Animal Rescue we are dedicated to the welfare of unwanted pets. The dogs we have in our care rely on public donations to live. The donations pay for the food, shelter and well being of the animals.

Puppies Animal Rescue is based in Bestwood Village, Nottingham.

Founded in 2005 by Rikki Hawkins, the organisation relies on donations and fund-raising events to pay for the upkeep of the animals, many of which are still waiting for their forever home to come along.

Our dogs currently range from 5 months old to about 10 years old. We also take in abused dogs that will quite possibly not be able to be rehomed due to their past.

They are kept in a house environment so we get a better idea of their personality and temperament which means we are better able to match future owners to our dogs. It also means the dogs are house trained and get along with other dogs - two main things people look for in rescue dogs.

Puppies Animal Rescue is always looking for ideas to raise money and for volunteers to help with its events.  If you are interested in helping with these events or volunteering or indeed adopting a dog from Puppies Animal Rescue, please don't hesitate in contacting us.
